There was once an Imam who was asked a question which he was not able to answer. The question was, “Why were women forbidden to marry more than one husband at a time?”
A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:
“Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I’m pregnant again. I don’t want kids so close together.”

Once upon a time there was an African king who had a close friend that he grew up with. The friend had a habit to face every situation that happened in his life, both positive and negative, by saying: “That is good! Almighty Allah knows more”.
Mahmud was a very pious man, but he was not very attractive looking. There were three brothers from Bani Israel who were called upon to go on Jihad. These three brothers had a sister who did not have any one else to be taken care of other then by them. Then they thought that the most reasonable place to leave her was with the Abid (worshipper) because he was the most trusted man in town. Barsisa, the Abid was a man who used to be in a monastery devoted to worship.
A man came to Iyas Ibn Muawiyah, a Muslim Qadi (judge) famous for his wisdom, and the following conversation took place between them:
There was a country long time ago where the people would change a king every year. The person who would become the king had to agree to a contract that he would be sent to an island after his one year of being a king.
